Refund Policy
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for paid CyberInitiation services. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
Our free audit is genuinely free — no commitment, no payment. The policies below apply only to paid engagements.
2. Free Audit — No Refund Needed
Our free audit is provided at no cost. If you don't like the findings, you owe nothing. The audit report is yours to keep either way, even if you don't hire us.
3. What is Refundable
- Initial deposit — refundable within 5 business days of payment if the engagement has not yet started.
- Milestone payments — refundable if the corresponding deliverable has not been started.
- Unused post-launch support window — refundable on a pro-rata basis if you terminate early.
4. What is Not Refundable
- Deposits after kickoff has begun (Day 1 of the engagement).
- Completed and approved milestones.
- Third-party costs (domain registration, app subscriptions, ad spend, etc.).
- Custom work already delivered and accepted.
- Paid performance audits, once delivered.
5. Performance Guarantee vs Refunds
Every paid engagement includes a performance guarantee. If we miss the target, our commitment is to keep working free until we hit it — not to issue a cash refund. This is because the goal is your storefront performing well, not partial refunds.
6. How to Request a Refund
- Email info@cyberinitiation.in with the subject line: Refund Request — [Invoice Number].
- Include the reason for the request and any relevant context.
- We acknowledge the request within 3 business days.
- We review and respond with a decision within 10 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued within 7 business days via the original payment method.
7. Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, it typically reflects in your account within:
- UPI / Net Banking (India): 3–5 business days
- Credit / Debit Card (India): 5–7 business days
- International cards: 7–14 business days
- Wire transfer: 5–10 business days
8. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision, you may raise a formal dispute. Please see Section 12 of our Terms of Service for the escalation process (good faith negotiation → mediation → arbitration in Delhi, India).
